Associate Director, E-commerce Strategy and Optimization

This role will report to the Vice President of E-commerce and will work closely with partners on Analytics, Product (E-comm), Merch, Pricing, Finance, Product Marketing, and Subscription teams to shape the future of the D-to-C business and lead the organization with using data-driven insights to optimize all aspects of the business.

What You Will Do:

  • Own development of cohesive GoPro e-commerce growth strategy using inputs from internal cross functional teams as well as industry insights to ensure that broader business objectives are met
  • Own and drive A/B testing strategy and deliver analysis and recommendations to be used for decision making in collaboration with internal stakeholders; Build, prioritize, and maintain a testing roadmap that accelerates conversion growth and improvement in customer experiences
  • Partner with Analytics team to ensure test design and structure will deliver viable and relevant test results
  • Create and share presentations about test results, insights, and recommendations
  • Own vendor relationships for optimization tools and partners and hold accountable for stated results and ROI targets
  • Build and maintain data models to optimize promotions, bundles, and subscription in partnership with cross functional team members
  • Develop plans to respond and react to business trends using pricing, promotions, and merchandising tactics
  • Utilize all available e-comm data sources along with marketing, transactional, product and other business data to identify, develop, and leverage deep insights into customer behavior and business performance to drive and improve the e-commerce business
  • Work with Commercial Planning, S&OP, and Finance team on forecasting and business planning; developing plans that are challenging yet achievable
  • Create well organized presentations that convey insights into data and trends
  • Stay tuned to macro-economic trends in all of the markets that we serve to identify opportunities to grow sales and share of GoPro products
  • Represent e-commerce business objectives with core business planning functions (Commercial Planning, Forecasting, etc.)
