Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Marketing Officer will be a key member of the Modsy executive team and an integral contributor to the continued growth and expansion of the business. This executive will be responsible for growing Modsy into a recognized household name.  Key responsibilities will include continuing to expand paid and organic customer acquisition channels while developing a phenomenal brand.  As an innovative and entrepreneurial leader, the Chief Marketing Officer will play a critical role in building a unique team culture in marketing that cultivates creativity, data driven results and a customer-first mentality.

Role and Responsibilities

    • Be laser-focused on driving the growth and awareness of Modsy with key customer segments
    • Drive an organic growth strategy leveraging key assets including SEO, referral and content
    • Manage a highly data driven acquisition and growth focused team
    • Hire and manage a brand team responsible for the further development of the Modsy brand
    • Create a strategy for repeat and customer retention
    • Work cross functionally to deliver an exceptional and memorable customer experience

Professional Qualifications

    • 20-30 years experience in marketing
    • Marketing leadership experience at a high growth late stage startup, ideally in eCommerce or internet marketplaces
    • Proven experience and expertise in acquisition and growth
    • Adept at working in a data driven, fast moving environments with a bias for action
    • Proven success in developing and scaling a consumer brand
    • Excellent communication and a passion for building great teams
    • A strong foundation of marketing experience balanced with a passion for continuous growth and learning
