Anthropologie is looking for a Director of Marketing, overseeing brand marketing activations for Anthropologie Group and AnthroLiving. The ideal candidate is an experienced and highly creative marketer. This person will be responsible for leading and executing campaigns focused on building brand consideration, acquiring new customers, re-engaging lapsed customers and rightsizing our current customer base to drive future growth for Anthropologie.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and oversee the execution of breakthrough marketing programs that build affinity and loyalty for the brand.
  • Direct the brand marketing team in crafting marketing strategies and cross-category creative briefs that inspire colleagues to deliver results-oriented, only at Anthro, aspirational work.
  • Partner with digital and analytics teams to develop a deep understanding of our target customer and assess the effectiveness of our marketing programming, promoting a test and learn mindset.
  • Drive brand equity with key brand-to-brand partnerships across categories.
  • Grow co-op marketing program across apparel, beauty, footwear and more, leveraging the Anthropologie reputation and name to provide increased value to partners.
  • Manage promotions and loyalty, using existing and new programs to drive consideration and frequency.
  • Own charitable partnerships and philanthropic strategy.
  • Lead, coach and manage high performing team of 2. Develop an environment that values quality work, speed, creative exploration, mutual trust and respect, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of brand management experience in apparel, beauty, or lifestyle, or culture space.
  • Strategic, results oriented marketer with a proven track record in campaign development
  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure team success
  • Highly motivated and able to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate team members to achieve their best

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, or a related field.
