Marquee Brands is looking for an experienced director of digital marketing to lead the marketing strategy, project management and growth planning for the Martha Stewart retail e-commerce website (Martha.com), which also includes social media, CRM, email marketing, and performance digital marketing (search, display, SEO/SEM, affiliate).

Here’s What You Will Do Here

  • Partner with digital marketing agencies to drive strategy and execution of all digital performance marketing channels including paid search, paid social, SEO, email, SMS and affiliate channels.
  • Oversee paid and display marketing efforts, including investment strategy, program performance, and testing.
  • Input all digital marketing efforts into our quarterly and monthly marketing calendar.
  • Lead affiliate marketing efforts, which include pulling links and creating banners/copy when needed.
  • Develop a robust email and SMS marketing strategy that includes promotional emails and segmentation campaigns that drive repeat visits, increase average order value and lifetime value.
  • Provide detailed reporting on all email and SMS efforts and use data to inform future planning.
  • Manage the marketing budget and work with finance and lead merchant on the P&L.
  • Strategize social media marketing that includes shoppable posts and marketing cadence on all social platforms. Also manage the execution of those campaigns, which includes pulling images, copy and links.
  • Pull customer data lists from our Lexer CRM platform and use for social and email campaigns.
  • Establish detailed key performance indicators and metrics to track and report on performance of processes and programs and transform data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Develop annual, monthly e-commerce forecast and budget, including traffic, sales, conversion and AOV. Provide weekly reporting and insight into e-commerce performance.
  • Stay abreast of current digital marketing trends, consumer insight and e-commerce technology.

This Job is for You If

  • Ten-plus years marketing experience
  • Must have very deep understanding of running email/SMS programs
  • Affiliate experience in both publisher and advertising affiliate
  • Experience with working on creative to use in campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of back-end digital platforms
  • Data analytics knowledge is a must
  • Experience in merchandise marketing a plus
  • Must have a positive attitude and have the significant ability to multitask
  • Must be a strong leader that will help teach and grow the digital marketing manager
