POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Global Brand Management is responsible for working with Brand Leadership to set the direction, strategy and priorities at the brand level across multiple brands.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serves as central liaison and brand expert with key stakeholders across the organization, including Retail Merchandising, Wholesale, Ecommerce/Marketplaces, International Merchandising, Marketing, Product Design, Product Development, and Finance, for critical brands across GNC’s owned brand portfolio
• Responsible for key consumer segments within category users
• Manages the plans and tactics to ensure brand (s) positioned to grow with the target consumer
• Develops the brand and innovation strategy for core brands/category in collaboration with cross-functional partners
• Identifies brand priorities and gaining alignment with internal partners
• Maximizes brand appeal for target consumer segment(s) and to target consumers’ needs and wants with meaningful product innovation that is distinctive in the marketplace
• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to execute innovation plans, ensuring internal alignment as well as consumer relevance
• Collaborates cross-functionally to execute brand packaging, style guides and communication priorities for products/brand(s)
• Briefs internal and external partners to ensure brand consistency and establish messaging priorities across all channels
• Analyzes research to understand competitive environment and identify opportunities to amplify brand message to showcase GNC in ways that are distinctive, relevant and essential to target audiences
• Supports Brand leaders in developing new processes to improve ways of working
• Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
• 8+ years progressive brand leadership experience required
• 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
• Basic understanding of CPG Product Development
• Proven ability in understanding consumer segmentation to launch products and marketing required
• Strong understanding of marketing and advertising required
• Experience identifying trends, innovative ideas, and actionable insights relevant for the brand
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
