Manager, Social Selling and Content Creation

This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of Chico’s, White House Black Market and Soma’s social selling strategy and tactics, as well as content creation for social media platforms, including video and still life content.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as on-air talent for social selling videos for all brands.
  • Responsible for product knowledge and working closely with merchant teams to promote brand.
  • Responsible for researching and developing talking points/scripts for Live and video content across social platforms.
  • Ideates and produces engaging and relatable Live and taped video content that each brand audience will identify with.
  • Develops weekly social selling content calendar for Chico’s, WHBM and Soma in line with marketing strategy and product focuses per delivery.
  • Responsible for securing and scheduling talent, including internal and external experts and models.
  • Serves as on-site producer.
  • Works closely with visual and IT partners to ensure studio set is prepared for filming.
  • Works closely with social media team and cross-functional marketing teams to maximize content.
  • Leads research of social selling trends and industry benchmarks.
  • Partners with social community engagement team to read and react to customer engagement for Live social selling segments
  • Creates video content for TikTok and IG Reels.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure content is utilized among all digital channels where applicable
  • Works closely with social marketing and community engagement team to provide the Most Amazing Personalize Service to our online community
  • Responsible for working closely with marketing and creative teams to align goals and ensure smooth and timely implementation of content programs
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly social selling reporting.
  • Responsible for meeting annual revenue goals, engagement and additional social KPIs for each brand.
  • Educates internal partners and colleagues about social media trends and best practices.
  • Promotes social selling activities internally with corporate office, distribution center and field associates.Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team. Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; in Marketing, Social Marketing, PR, Communications or similar field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience required
  • Familiarity with digital media (video and photography), as well as social media platforms, programs, techniques, functionality, and custom applications
  • Media/broadcast training
  • Working knowledge of all social media platforms including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and more
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent multi-tasker with a proven time management/prioritization track record
  • Confidentiality and the ability to manage sensitive information in this role
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concordant tasks and projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
