What You'll Do

  • Play a key role in developing and implementing Athleta’s annual and seasonal PR plans
  • Drive planning and execution for press activations amplifying quarterly brand campaigns
  • Partner with PR agency to develop and execute public relations plans for Athleta – including, but not limited to managing media interviews, product/sample/image requests, and managing and executing PR / influencer events
  • Manage brand’s Power of She Fund + impact programming, including leading relationship with impact partners and cross functional teams
  • Partner with agency to order samples of key seasonal styles/products for editors and influencers
  • Support the development of key press materials including press releases, media alerts, and talking points in partnership with Gap Inc. Corporate Communications and PR Agency
  • Ensure alignment, integration and hind sighting with omni-channel marketing and cross-functional partners
  • Partner with PR Agency to develop and continuously improve reporting and sharing results with an emphasis on tying to metrics

  • Qualified. 6-10 years marketing/communications experience. Experience with press in a fast-paced environment Agency experience or experience managing external PR Agency
