Overview of Position

We are looking for an ambitious sales and merchandising manager to build relationships with wholesale retail accounts to accelerate Leota's sales and brand growth. Six-plus years experience and existing relationships are required. This role works closely with our designer, operations manager, and CEO. Our ideal candidate is a great communicator, ultra-detailed, and analytical.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with wholesale retailers across the U.S. and internationally.
  • Merchandise seasonal collections, including creating merchandise plan and pricing based on sales data.
  • Oversee seasonal lookbook creation and create custom lookbooks for retailers.
  • Consistently assess stock levels and replenish merchandise to maintain sales growth
  • Purchase order and CRM management
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize sales growth, reduce inventory liability, and minimize markdowns.
  • Analyze fiscal selling and client performance on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis to forecast growth and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare and present collections during seasonal market appointments and trade shows.
  • Continually look for opportunities to sell deeper into existing relationships, as well as develop new relationships.
