Senior Director, Digital Marketing

The Senior Director, Digital Marketing will be responsible for the region’s (US and Canada) core digital and e-commerce marketing strategy and shares the responsibility to drive growth and generate revenue.  He/She will partner with global marketing counterparts on full-funnel digital media consumer journey plans and work hand in hand with brand marketing team to develop synergistic marketing plans that drive the brand forward.  Will also partner with global e-commerce to implement global standard best practices, pilot new strategies and localize activities within the global performance marketing framework.

  • Develop and drive a clear e-commerce marketing vision and roadmap that optimizes existing channels, generates new and innovative sources of sessions while gaining internal alignment and powerfully articulating to all stakeholders
  • Develop and drive a specific e-commerce marketing strategy for PUMA Canada site and ensure efficiencies are realized across countries
  • Orchestrate the annual marketing planning and budget process ensuring marketing's goals are aligned with regional and global objectives including building financial plans for marketing channels with specific KPI’s and business cases for new initiatives
  • Connect the dots between global and regional team members to deliver a cohesive translation of the integrated brand strategy into integrated digital marketing plans and campaigns that connect with consumer experience(s) to increase awareness, consideration and conversion
  • Lead all e-commerce marketing activities including but not limited to acquisition, search, email, advertising, retention, loyalty and affiliate marketing
  • Be the financial expert that leads all team members to optimize marketing spends, achieve ROAS targets and make critical financial decisions that affect the company’s top and bottom line; must be articulate in reporting results and recommendations
  • Partner with Head of E-commerce on PUMA’s local personalization strategy
  • Provide direction, motivate, support and inspire a multi-level team of 13+ people to successfully lead the brand into the digital future, developing strategic and operational acumen
  • Oversee our consumer data strategy from architecture, identification and collection, audience creation & strategies to reporting and connectivity/utilization across our tools.
  • Provide expertise, vision and leadership to define and implement customer relationship marketing programs and initiatives that successfully build profitable, long-term customer value.
  • Oversee all vendor and agency relationships, including scope development and continuous optimization
