The senior merchandiser is a cross-functional collaborator who is responsible for building compelling assortments for e-commerce that support revenue and brand goals. This role works cross-functionally to identify and advocate for product needs, communicate go-to-market product strategies, and guide category and channel investments across the globe. This role is a team leader and supports both the e-commerce and e-tail merchandising teams. You're customer oriented, reading and reacting to customer metrics and sales data to deliver an assortment that resonates with our customers all over the world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Merchandise team leaders to develop global digital line plans that support regional revenue targets.
  • Integrate regional digital merchandising team input on pre-season assortment needs and investments.
  • Run tasks around sales forecasting and consolidation.
  • Focus on core product inventory in conjunction with Planning team.
  • Communicate "voice of the consumer" feedback to the product team.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing on product stories, ensuring they support key commercial moments.
  • Collaborate to ensure that marketing covers the duration of product offering.
  • Analyze global product, consumer and competitor trends to impact assortment decisions for e-commerce and e-tail around the globe.
  • Partner with Brand Partnerships, Collaborations, and Licensing teams to drive growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Category Management partners in preparation for seasonal landmark meetings.
  • Act as team lead in implementation of new planning tool.
  • Provide operational support for go-live calendar.
  • Facilitate site reviews and validate products.
  • Assist with marketplace reviews and hindsighting.
  • Provide MSRP findings to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in business, merchandising or related field
  • Five-plus years of buying or merchandising experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (specifically Excel) and Google docs
  • Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced and high-performance environment
  • Excellent time management, communication (written and verbal) and organization skills
  • Cross-functional work, globally, and influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to lead multiple projects at once
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong initiative and willingness to work independently
  • Positive demeanor and ability to work in a team environment
  • Willing and able to learn and have fun
