Senior Manager of Brand and Media Planning

This role oversees the paid and organic media approach across traditional and digital media, including TV, Radio, OOH, social media, Programmatic Display, digital video, audio, and direct digital partnerships for performance media also able to craft a brand strategy into customer journeys that engage with customers.

Senior Manager of Brand and Media Planning needs to be a self-starter, a creative problem solver for our retail channels that can craft a strategy and make it sing, from initial brief to execution. We move fast, so we need someone who can work quickly and collaboratively, at times taking minimal information and filling in the gaps with insight and structure. From initial insight to final decks, we need someone who can craft a strategy into a persuasive story that inspires creative teams and excites all accounts. You will be joining a diverse team of personalities, who are masters of their craft and passionate about the work. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Growth & Performance.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Works across all key account teams to optimize media plans for Dickies audiences
  • Lead Accounts paid media strategies from strategy creation till Performance planning
  • Leads the paid media strategy for accounts campaigns, from briefing to measuring performance
  • Leads media briefing process and collaboration across media agency and all other marketing teams to develop each campaign
  • Ensures campaigns have cohesive go-to-market media strategies and manages cross-campaign alignment to ensure all live media is working together
  • Leads relationship with the media agency, including overall direction, staffing and personnel needs, project prioritization, financial operations, savings management, contracts, and meetings
  • Builds collaboration with performance teams to drive full-funnel media investment planning, testing, and results
  • Drives coordination around media planning with audience and analytics/measurement teams, along with partnering to develop thoughtful and executable test and learn initiatives around full-funnel media
  • Leads a culture of sharing of best practices, creating actionable and easily interpreted reporting in collaboration with the agency to uncover media and creative performance insights
  • Extensive experience planning, creating, and executing PPC campaigns across channels including Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • Experienced at driving results with Search, Display and Video ad formats; comfortable rapidly experimenting on creative assets across ad formats and landing pages
  • Prioritize data-driven frameworks for decision making

Skills for Success

  • 4+ years of experience managing performance marketing programs and/or digital campaigns
  • Strong understanding of direct response marketing methodologies and of key digital marketing channels including display, shopping, search engine marketing, and social media marketing
  • Experience with the key ad platforms: Google Adwords and GDN, Bing, etc.
  • Detail oriented and very strong organization and project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and track/manage multiple campaigns/projects at a time
  • Passion for data driven decision making and creating compelling and personalized digital customer experiences
  • Strong excel skills required
  • Must be a strong communicator who is able to effectively communicate marketing efforts, media performance/ROI and best practices to the broader organization
  • Highly driven with a positive, high-energy, team-oriented attitude
  • BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
