Overview

UNTUCKit is seeking a creative, self-motivated social media professional to join its marketing team. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of experience managing a brand or publication’s social media page with a proven track record of growth. The Social Media Associate will report directly to the Marketing Manager. Candidates must have proficient knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, comfortability pitching ideas and the ability to concept from top to bottom. The position also requires a strong understanding of social media analytics and sharp copywriting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Execute meaningful social programming that both effectively positions the brand and supports the business objectives of the organization
  • Develop the brand’s content strategy and schedule posts to social media channels while maintaining brand voice and messaging as appropriate for each channel
  • Compile reports for management showing results, ROI and make recommendations for future campaigns based on findings
  • Identify and cultivate brand ambassadors
  • Develop and execute conversion strategy to convert fans into customers
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a timely manner while cultivating leads and sales
  • Cross-functional collaboration with teams like editorial, creative, merchandising, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in social media who can manage projects from ideation to execution
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is a must, motion graphics are a plus
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion
  • Strong awareness and understanding of social media analytics, copywriting and visual branding
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Proven record of audience and engagement growth
  • Agile and nimble, with the ability to pivot calendars, strategies and plans to ensure relevance and resonance
  • A positive attitude and willingness to take on last-minute initiatives in stride
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
  • Planning and anticipating project needs
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and multi-task
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple initiatives independently while leveraging cross-functional resources
  • Other administration duties as needed
