Vice President, Marketing, North America

The Vice President of Marketing, North America will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the North America marketing team and continuously advancing the brand through innovative, strategic marketing programs that generate awareness while achieving marketing and business targets, increasing market share and driving consumer engagement. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing marketing strategy, oversee and manage budgets, and develop short- and long-range planning. This person will be responsible for leading the various functions within Marketing including but not limited to Omni Marketing, Communications, Content Strategy and Brand Marketing while ensuring clear and consistent brand messages through our brand’s DNA.




  • Provide overall leadership and management for the US marketing team.
  • Pioneer and implement measurable short- and long-term strategies that profitably increase revenue and grow the brand.
  • Develop channel, segment and market strategies to enable targeted marketing.
  • Lead team on sales plans, growth strategies & merchandising efforts to achieve online and store sales targets.
  • Lead the overarching Omni-channel marketing strategy that delivers robust plans in support of monthly themes, new product launches, pillar products that will drive incremental retail exposure while working with retailer guidelines.
  • Create “best-in-class” marketing programs with cross-functional marketing and wholesale teams for any new product launches or key initiatives to drive core products.
  • Develop breakthrough creative brand strategies across marketing mediums from concept to execution. Primary mediums include: digital paid media, partnerships, sampling, events & editor/influencer relations.
  • Establish a best-in-class social, digital and web presence that drives consumer awareness, engagement, affinity and purchase.
  • Plan and oversee the design direction and production of all marketing, public relations, and advertising content ensuring the brand vision is brought to life in a way that is relevant and compelling to our target audiences.
  • Build, further develop, and leverage relationships with industry media to evangelize the fresh brand, mission, and movement in the market.
  • Define an experience-driven approach with customers to engage them in the brand across online and offline formats.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the customer and ensure successful translations of market research into actionable insights that can achieve business goals.
  • Lead analysis across all platforms and channels to measure overall performance drivers, including calendar optimization, steering decisions, and conversion optimization.
  • Be creative and nimble; use latest technologies/platforms where our customer is in order to quickly shift plans in real time to build growth.
  • Work closely with Vice President of sales and sales directors to enhance and align efforts.

What you will achieve in the first 6 months:

  • Lead the execution of Fall 2021 strategic initiatives while achieving key marketing KPIs and sales goals. Manage and adjust budget accordingly.
  • Develop 2022 that support comp business growth, new innovation and expansion into new distribution.
  • Identify consumer segmentation objectives and develop break-through full funnel paid media and influencer strategies that support brand awareness growth and consumer acquisition goals.

What you will achieve in 12 months:

  • Drive double digit increase in brand awareness, new customer acquisition and conversion metrics, and accelerate digital growth by achieving 60% online mix of business.
  • Restore growth in prestige skincare brand rank and exceed market performance across key pillar categories.
  • Achieve brand sales goals within budget to support profit targets, while successfully implementing distribution expansion initiatives.



  • 10+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong strategic vision and creative skills balanced by a highly analytical, hands on and detail oriented approach
  • Comfortable interpreting data, deriving actionable insights and using them to inform strategic direction while also able to deliver clear and compelling creative briefs and evaluate creative assets with constructive feedback
  • Proven track record in developing integrated marketing plans and optimizing marketing investment in a highly competitive market space
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
  • Ability to recruit, develop and retain high performing talent in a collaborative and empowering work environment.
