VP, Marketing and E-commerce

As a key member of the leadership team, the Vice President, Kay Jewelers Marketing and E-commerce (VP) will report directly to the SVP E-commerce and Marketing, KZP, division of Signet (Kay Jewelers, Zales and Peoples). The VP will provide a comprehensive view of the customer and create strategies at the highest level to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and profitability. In addition, the VP will be responsible for developing a clearly differentiated brand position and implementing integrated marketing strategies. The VP will lead the following areas: E-commerce, Brand Marketing, Creative, Digital Marketing, Visual Merchandising, CRM, Customer Loyalty, Credit Card, Customer Analytics, PR and Corp Communications. The VP will learn from the customers and deliver traffic building programs that positively impact sales, grow the customer base and increase the overall profitability of the company.

  • Create, develop and execute comprehensive, integrated, and measurable customer acquisition and marketing strategies to drive sales and gross margin
  • Responsible for overall integrated media strategy that includes everything from digital performance marketing to social and top of funnel brand television
  • Responsible for the e-commerce P&L and delivering sales
  • Drive brand presence, providing a unified experience to build the brand and expand customer base growth
  • Build the brand voice utilizing digital, social media and traditional channels to further brand awareness, value and reputation among current and new customers
  • Oversee and evaluate market research to identify trends and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions maximizing ROI on marketing spend
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive insights and to develop customer segmentation strategy
  • Develop and administer the marketing budget, provide comprehensive reporting and campaign metrics

Competencies:

  • 10+ years of success in developing and executing integrated marketing plans that leverage all elements in the marketing mix
  • 10+ years' experience in branding, social media, digital marketing, events and strategic partnerships
  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, e-commerce, Creative Services or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen and the ability to operate on the executive team
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM, data analytics and marketing strategy development
  • High level of integrity

  • Outstanding leadership abilities with ability to attract, retain and develop a strong team
