VP of E-Commerce

The VP of E-commerce will direct and manage strategies and operations to maximize the ROI across 47brand.com. They will be responsible for collaborating and managing all aspects of the e-commerce business including, business planning, optimization of the website experience to drive conversion, margin dollars and new customers, and the successful release of new website functionality.

Strategy and Execution

  • Clearly identify a strategy for execution in alignment with long-range plan and strategic priorities to drive revenue, develop strategic and operational plans, managing execution, and measuring and delivering results
  • Full P&L responsibility of ’47 E-Commerce North America
  • Manage expense budgeting and forecasting along with vendor relationships
  • Responsible for developing entire E-commerce budget; annual advertising spends, ROI of advertising spend, member and customer growth
  • Ongoing analyzing and evaluation of 47brand.com effectiveness; sales, methods, costs, results etc.
  • Leverage customer insight and constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues and risks in order to recommend strategies and tactics
  • Driving customer acquisition and top-line growth through SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing and display re-targeting
  • Generate business analysis to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment in order to achieve continued growth and profitability
  • Partner with team to run analysis and prepare selling hindsight’s on weekly, monthly quarterly and seasonal basis in order to help identify opportunities in the assortment
  • Aggressively drive the business by identifying opportunities and developing action plans to maximize best results through seasonal buys, reorders, challenging business partners and status quo
  • Work closely with brand marketing team on website content generation in telling the ’47 story and maximize return through testing, site optimization and improving online customer experience
  • Provide best in class customer service operation through internal team
  • Direct E-commerce strategy across all products and online assets in support of overall business growth and revenue targets; oversight of daily web operations, seasonal E-commerce strategies to ensure all projects support the brand strategy and contribute growth
  • Own user experience, monitor performance, and propose continuous improvements along key metrics such as traffic, conversion, order value, returns and cancellations
  • Identify and recommend emerging trends and advancements in web technologies in order to drive new business opportunities that focus on ROI
  • Oversee the planning and development of site consumer calendar and ensure all cross functional deliverables are met in accordance with assigned deadlines
  • Analyze trends in customer service call outs and implement improvement to address common issues
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams, warehouse management, and IT to ensure a best-in-class experience
  • Ensure 47brand.com delivers on its financial plans (sales, margin, contribution, inventory turns) through online purchases

Management

  • Provide inspirational leadership and direction to direct reports
  • Ensure continued development, and management of team
  • Cultivate strong and transparent working relationships across the organization
  • Ensure open communication about the measurement of financial, programmatic and impact performance against stated milestones and goals
  • Lead with compelling strategic vision that is in alignment with ’47 short- and long-term goals and strategic plan

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business; 7-10 years’ experience as a digital commerce strategist working on digital consumer-facing applications
  • 5+ years e-commerce experience, optimally with mobile and omni-channel focus; Shopify experience a plus
  • Expertise and proven success in translating business strategy and analysis into a successful consumer product
  • Extensive knowledge of E-commerce technology landscape and partner networks
  • Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Proven leadership of large E-commerce projects
  • Outstanding analytical skills with strong experience interpreting test results and drawing conclusions
  • Proven ability to influence technical teams, business partners, company leadership and vendor partners
  • Excellent oral and written skill
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
