Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) recently held five Virtual Exchange sessions on Facebook Live with industry experts to learn more about how organizations and leaders are evolving their strategies and operations in light of the COVID-19 global pandemic. The Virtual Exchange event was designed to encourage the WIRLC community to stay connected during this time of social distancing and self-isolation. During one of the sessions, WIRLC Co-Founder and President Jennifer DiPasquale chatted with WIRLC Advisory Board Member Lisa Gavales, a retail industry veteran and board of director member at Forever 21, Bluestem Brands, and True Religion Brand Jeans.

In this video clip of the session, Gavales shares her tips for retail leaders who are now navigating how to manage remote teams, her predictions for how COVID-19 will reshape retail in a positive way, and the most effective ways to engage consumers right now.
