I don’t know about you, but I’m all about professional development opportunities this year. There’s such a wealth of knowledge out there, and so much of it is incredibly accessible. Why not take advantage and grow as a human, both personally and professionally?
Since the beginning of the year, so many of you have told Women in Retail Leadership Circle that you want to focus on yourself. To do away with bad habits, carve out time for personal well-being, and find ways to be a better leader.
Well, we’ve got you covered. The first of our free quarterly Virtual Exchanges is happening this Thurs., Feb. 17, and features three leading retail experts speaking on a multitude of topics, including leadership:
- Andre Persaud, Chief Retail Officer, Rite Aid;
- Harvey S. Kanter, President and CEO, DXL Group, and Author, “Choosing to Lead”;
- Lauri Kien Kotcher, CEO, The Shade Store
This live, two-hour virtual event with our sister brand, Total Retail, provides interactive one-on-one discussions with today’s top retail leaders as they share the strategies they’re using to kick-start growth in 2022. You can ask them questions directly starting at noon, and gain valuable insights on how to be a better leader.
Women in Retail Leadership Circle has also created webinars based on feedback we’re received from our members. Join us at 12 p.m. ET on March 10 to learn how to create a culture of innovation. Our live webinar will feature a presentation from Jen Thornton, founder of 304 Coaching, who will teach attendees how to help their teams move collectively from fear-based thinking to innovation-based thinking. In the webinar, attendees will learn the following:
- why creating a culture of innovation vs. fear is so important, especially in the current environment;
- the three types of fears or limiting beliefs that can hold employees back, and how to recognize them;
- how to redirect, refocus or reframe feedback and coaching in a way that helps individuals overcome limiting beliefs, expand their thinking, and move from fear to innovation; and
- so much more!
Best of all, the webinar is free for Women in Retail Leadership Circle members! Email me at malbiges@napco.com for the member code to get free access. The cost of the webinar for nonmembers is $79. Not a member? Apply today for access to this webinar and other professional development and executive leadership content, such as exclusive tips from career coaches, valuable reports, and monthly peer group calls with like-minded women retail executives.
We hope these virtual events will help you in your quest toward better self-care! What other opportunities are you finding to accelerate your professional development growth?
Cheers,
