Did you get through your summer reading list? As we head into fall, hopefully you’ll find some time of your own to spend getting cozy with a good book. With that in mind, here are 10 books recommended by Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) members.

Gabrielle Grazi, Vice President of Retail Strategy and Partnerships, Natural Diamond Council
Gen Z 360: Preparing for the Inevitable Change in Culture, Work and Commerce,” by Hana Ben-Shabat.

Lucille DeHart, Principal at MKT Marketing Services; Founder, Yogassists
I normally have three books going at a time, but I recently finished “Eternal” by Lisa Scottoline, a historical fiction piece about a love triangle set in Rome during the Nazi occupation. I’m now juggling “The Only Woman in the Room” by Marie Benedict and “The Chanel Sisters” by Judith Little.

Sam Norpel, Chief Digital Officer, Juvenescence Life
Over the holidays I read “Rituals for Virtual Meetings: Creative Ways to Engage People and Strengthen Relationships” by Glenn Fajardo and Kursat Ozenc. As a startup and primarily virtual organization with team members across the globe, this book really helped me to understand 1.) why eight hours of Zoom calls are exhausting, yet an eight-hour binge of my favorite Netflix series doesn’t have the same affect; and 2.) rituals we can create with our team to make Zoom calls more productive and inspiring.

Sarah Peters, Franchising Director, GNC
I’m reading the “Chief Inspector Armand Gamache” series by Louise Penny. I became acquainted with her writing when I read “State of Terror,” the book she co-wrote with Hillary Rodham Clinton. I also enjoy reading Janet Evanovich’s “Stephanie Plum” series and often laugh out loud when reading these books. I recently picked up “Think Again – The Power of Knowing What You Don’t Know” by Adam Grant and am looking forward to reading it.

Jamie Martin, Vice President of Merchandise Operations and Inventory Management, mDesign
Soulful Simplicity” by Courtney Carver because I’m continually seeking more ways and ideas around simplifying things in my work and personal life with the goal of better balance and focus.
