Yep, that’s right! We’re opening up registration for our typically sold-out annual Summit, which is filled with three days of inspiration, content, and connections with fellow executive women at leading retailers and brands — but to members only first. While the Summit is special every year, this year the it will be even more so because for the first time we’re taking it out West to the Arizona Biltmore, a magical, historical oasis resort at the base of the Phoenix Mountain Preserves. I toured the hotel, and it is indeed amazing! I was wowed by not only its beauty, but its history. Here are some fun facts I learned about the Biltmore while on my trip:

  • The Arizona Biltmore is the only existing hotel in the world with a Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced design.
  • It has the second largest gold leaf ceiling next to the Taj Mahal.
  • Irving Berlin penned the song “White Christmas” by the Catalina Pool, which was also Marilyn Monroe’s favorite pool.
  • The Arizona Biltmore’s master bartender, Gene Sulit, invented the Tequila Sunrise in the 1930s at The Wright Bar.
