Virginia Nguyen is vice president and chief diversity officer at Qurate Retail Group, as well as a member of Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC)! In this member spotlight interview, Virginia details some of the ways that she and her colleagues work to ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) is at the forefront at Qurate Retail Group, and continues to be talked about, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Qurate Retail Group has over 40 team member resource groups to support employee conversations and community, and Virginia shares what those resource group meetings look like. She discusses the hardest lessons she’s learned while working to evolve DE&I at Qurate Retail Group, as well as the biggest changes she’s seen in the way her colleagues and the organization think about DE&I since the May 2020 murder of George Floyd, which sparked a global shift in the conversation. Lastly, Virginia shares what excites her the most about the year ahead and her work at Qurate Retail Group.
