What an incredible two days we’ve had at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, where Shoptalk has been in full swing, including our Women in Retail Pavilion. We’ve been so thrilled to partner again with Shoptalk this year to host a group of female leaders for fireside chats at our Pavilion about leadership, professional development, corporate culture, and much more.
Along with great conversations with leaders such as Roz Johnson, Build-A-Bear Workshop’s chief people officer and senior vice president; Mary Beth Sheridan, The Children’s Place’s chief merchandising officer; and Aimee Bayer-Thomas, Ulta Beauty’s chief supply chain officer, the Pavilion has been a wonderful place to network and meet other women in retail. We’ve had Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) members old and new stop by and catch up, and we’ve gotten to meet incredible allies and supporters.
It’s been wonderful to see women having fun in our photo booth, taking advantage of the margarita bar provided by our friends at Softtek, and getting to know one another in our space!
If you’re a member of WIRLC and you missed the fireside chats at the Pavilion, we’ve got you covered — the full sessions will be available on-demand on our website in the coming days! Additionally, look out for coverage of the Shoptalk main stage sessions in future editions of the newsletter.
If you visited the Women in Retail Pavilion at Shoptalk and enjoyed your time with the other women leaders, we’d love for you to consider joining our community! And if you missed us at Shoptalk, don’t worry — you’ll be seeing a lot more of us at our upcoming events.
