We are excited to announce that Elyse Stoltz Dickerson and Vanathy Lakshmi, both Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) members, were recognized with a 2024 Women in Technology Award by the Dallas Business Journal (DBJ) earlier this month. The publication’s 11th Annual Women in Technology Awards program honors outstanding trailblazers making their mark in technology across different industries in North Texas.

The honorees were chosen by DBJ newsroom leadership based on nominees’ impact on their companies and communities and work in fields such as global retail, cybersecurity, sales and marketing, and biotech. All of the Women in Technology honorees were celebrated at a May 22 event at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. Here is a little more about each honoree:

  • Elyse Stoltz Dickerson is the CEO and co-founder of Eosera, Inc., a female-led biotech company committed to developing innovative products that address underserved healthcare needs. Elyse has over two decades of experience leading teams in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. She managed portfolios with annual revenues of $1.7 billion and drove product innovation and the commercialization of numerous technologies across the globe. During Women’s History Month, WIRLC highlighted Elyse and her work in an article.
  • Vanathy Lakshmi is the vice president of product management and experiences at JCPenney. She is also a passionate product leader who has worked in the retail industry for more than two decades at companies such as Walmart, Albertsons and Sally Beauty. She is known for being a transformative, disruptive leader capable of setting a vision, defining the direction, and leading a team to create value that results in transformational change.
