Bethany Muths, a Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) member since 2022, was named president of Fair Harbor earlier this month.
Fair Harbor is a sustainable coastal lifestyle brand launched in 2014 by siblings Jake and Caroline Danehy. The company achieved B-Corp certification in 2022, and its products are sold online, in several department stores, and in more than 250 specialty retailers across the country.
Muths most recently served as the chief marketing and customer officer at Mizzen+Main, a menswear apparel company based in Dallas. She has served in multiple leadership roles throughout her career, including at Schutz USA, G.H. Bass & Co., Ivory Ella, Walmart, and Under Armour.
In a LinkedIn post, Muths said she was excited for her next chapter at Fair Harbor.
“I appreciate the opportunity at Mizzen+Main and am genuinely proud of the accomplishments the team and I achieved together,” said Muths.
The Fair Harbor co-founders congratulated Muths in separate LinkedIn posts.
“I am really looking forward to working together and for what the future has in store. Here’s to the next chapter!” Caroline Danehy said.
Muths noted that Fair Harbor’s environmental values align closely with her own.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to its [Fair Harbor’s] inspiring mission of creating comfortable, high-quality, sustainable products,” she said.
