Hello from Atlanta!

The Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) team has spent the last two days at Total Retail Tech. We were among the company of the retail industry’s most innovative technology leaders, representing leading brands such as Lowe’s, QVC Group, Patagonia, Sephora, Levi Strauss & Co., The Home Depot, among others.

Hosted by Women in Retail Leadership Circle’s sister brand, Total Retail Tech brought together leaders in the martech space from across the retail industry. Retailers connected with like-minded industry experts, comparing notes on the technology solutions that would best elevate their businesses.

On stage, discussions ranged from redefining supply chains to building high-impact teams through modern organizational design.

Some standout female speakers I’d like to call out:

  • In a fireside chat, Priya Buening, Levi Strauss & Co.’s vice president of e-commerce for the U.S., shared how the apparel brand has doubled its e-commerce business in five years. She gave an overview of Levi’s three-pillar approach to sustained e-commerce success.
  • Janice Burk, vice president of supply chain technology for Lowe’s, walked the audience through how the home improvement retailer is transforming its supply chain. She provided real-world examples of the kinds of digital innovations shaping Lowe’s supply chain strategy.
  • Executive coach and leadership consultant Quendrida Whitmore led an authentic discussion around the steps needed to create a culture of trust, ownership and results.

WIRLC members can view these sessions and more on-demand in the coming days. Not a member? Apply today!

If we missed you at Total Retail Tech this year, we hope you’ll save the date for next year’s event, scheduled for Sept. 14-16 in Dallas.
