Amanda Kranz is Accenture Song, Customer Growth and Strategy Lead for Retail and Travel. She also serves as Accenture’s Chicago Office Managing Director, responsible for more than 5,000 people with oversight for Accenture’s community and client engagement within greater Chicago metro area.
Amanda came to Accenture through the Acquity Group acquisition in 2013. She has spent the last ~15 years in Retail, Travel, and CPG helping companies evolve their businesses and consumer engagement strategies based on evolving customer needs. Amanda is passionate around helping businesses future-proof with new technologies, data, and channels, and revitalizing brands for new demographics and audiences. As a human-centered strategist and creative storyteller, Amanda leverages design methods to solve complex business and technology problems, always with through a people-first lens. She believes every problem has a human element that should not be ignored.
A champion for lifting others, Amanda is a fierce advocate for inclusion and equity and is dedicated to building a culture of listening and learning by giving voices to under-represented groups. For example, Amanda volunteers her time to helping upskill members of The Mom Project. Additionally, she serves as Accenture’s Executive Sponsor for the Hope Chicago organization, focusing on scaling their engagement and upskilling initiatives for a growing community of scholars.
Amanda holds a degree International Studies and Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison—she is a proud Badger alum and former University of Wisconsin Synchronized Skater. She lives in Chicago’s West Lakeview neighborhood with her husband, Alex, and their two daughters. Amanda commutes to work on her ebike (they are a biking family!) When they are not shuttling kids to activities and sports, the Kranz family spends their free time outside enjoying nature and being together. As an authentic leader who understands the realities of balancing her family with the demands of her career, Amanda is dedicated to helping people navigate work-life challenges, set boundaries and bring joy back into the workplace. Over the past three years, Amanda has actively contributed to the Chief organization, fostering connections within her local community and among her peers. She also frequently hosts and speaks at events for clients, including Accenture's International Women's Day celebration.
Amanda serves on the board of World Business Chicago and the Civic Consulting Alliance.
