Welcome to Women in Retail

Women In Retail is a membership organisation dedicated to senior women in the retail sector. We are committed to enabling our members to realise their personal and professional potential through networking and individual development.

We work collaboratively across the sector providing coaching and mentoring schemes, raising awareness of career opportunities and encouraging young talent into the sector.

Our aim is to provide an infrastructure for advice, support and development to senior women within the industry.

In the first of our first Women in Retail events of 2010 we are proud to be holding an exclusive work shop on Emotional Intelligence (EQi) identifying your authentic leadership presence with Darren Robson who is the Director of Strategy, Innovation and Partnerships with the Association for Coaching (fastest growing coaching network in the world with members from 42 countries) and Director of Innovation for Penna’s Board and Executive Partnership practice.

Darren will be sharing insights from his latest research the Mindset of the CEO and his coaching experience with corporate, private and social, charitable and 3rd sector organisations individual and teams.

The workshop will be energising, thought provoking and fun, starting at 8am and finishing promptly at 11am. At the end of the session Darren will have used a coaching approach to help you think about your EQi, what that means to you and how that impacts on your life purpose. The session promises to provide you with a rich, interactive and engaging learning experience whilst supporting you to think about:

1. Your personal/professional leadership signature
2. Your strengths and development areas
3. What gives you meaning and purpose
4. How you can use this learning to impact your life, family, work and more broadly community/society.

This is set to be a great opportunity for you to set yourself up to have your best decade yet.
