Women in Retail Leadership Circle wants your input! We want to shine a light on the incredible women leading this industry and give credit where it’s due. Our 12th annual Top Women in Retail report will feature female executives who are leading the charge to create inclusive cultures; navigating the workplace changes that accompanied a global pandemic; retaining and motivating their teams through a time of turmoil and turnover; and so much more.

To properly recognize these empowering women, we need your help. If that description reminds you of anyone in the field of retail, nominate them to a be 2022 Top Woman by filling out our survey!

Tell us why you think your nominee deserves to be recognized as a Top Woman in Retail. The woman/women you nominate should:

  • be in a C-suite or executive leadership position (senior vice president and above);
  • have helped propel their business forward; and
  • have demonstrated excellence, perseverance and innovation throughout the year.

The nominees will be evaluated by WIRLC’s editorial team on several factors, including scope of responsibility within their position; career achievements; involvement within the retail industry; and the impact they made within their role, among other factors.

The 2022 honorees will join an exclusive club of Top Women that have included Leslie Ferraro, president of QVC U.S. and HSN; Molly Langenstein, CEO and president of Chico’s FAS; Annie Young-Scrivner, CEO, Wella Company, Allison Samek, CEO, Fred Segal; and many others.

In addition to nominating 2022’s Top Women in Retail, we would like to recognize the rising stars in our industry. These women, while not yet at the top of the corporate ladder, are well on their way to being the next great leaders in the retail industry. Women on the Rise nominees must be manager level or above (excluding senior vice president and C-suite positions), younger than 40, and a current employee of a retail organization.

As an added bonus, the 2022 Top Women in Retail and Women on the Rise honorees will receive a complimentary pass to attend the 2022 Women in Retail Leadership Summit, taking place April 25-27 in Miami, at which they will be honored.
