Hi ladies!

I don’t know about where you are, but here in New York the weather has been less than kind (think rain, wind and some kind of crazy hail-like substances) the past few weeks, and I’m getting a big case of the winter blues. Any of you feel that way as well?

If you do, just hang in there because the Women in Retail Leadership Summit, taking place April 26-28 at the Four Seasons in Miami, is only a few months away!

Now, let’s all do a breathing exercise: Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Now visualize crystal-clear waters, warm breezes and stretches of white sandy beaches. Breathe in. Breathe out. It’s almost like you’re there, right?

Well, you can be if you register for the event here. Rooms are going fast, so make sure to sign up today!

Also, we have a great issue of Inner Circle this week, featuring the latest installment from our sister brand Total Retail’s Top Women in Retail 2017, featuring the top women executives in the retail industry. This week we have an interview with Laura Alber, CEO of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. We also have an article by Amy Madonia, a regular contributor here and a Women in Retail Leadership Circle board member, that challenges the stereotypes about customer service. Amy’s article will have you rethinking how customer service is treated at your organization.
