At Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC), we’re constantly inspired by the authentic and impactful retail leaders that grace our events, contribute to the conversation, and display a commitment to empowering other women to make something of themselves. One such leader is Winnie Park, CEO of Forever 21 (and a WIRLC board member).
Park is a mom, a traveler, a live music lover and an immigrant. She’s also a seasoned business executive and inspirational leader who brings deep international omnichannel brand experience and an impressive track record of growing and enhancing business and operations within the retail and fashion industry.
In April, Park spoke at the Women in Retail Leadership Summit as part of a panel of CEOs. The leaders discussed vulnerable and authentic leadership, with Park specifically addressing how to “unleash the genius” around her by utilizing others’ expertise (WIRLC members can watch that panel discussion on-demand).
This November, you’ll have the chance to hear from Park again, this time at the Women in Retail | On the Road San Francisco event. She will be discussing her career journey and leadership philosophy, among other themes, during a keynote presentation. Held Nov. 9 at The Marker hotel, the day-long event includes interactive panels, inspiring keynotes, useful networking and the chance for executive women in retail to learn from each other and improve business processes.
Other speakers joining Park in San Francisco include:
- Sharms Bala, Chief Information Officer, JCPenney
- Catherine Morisano, Chief Merchandising Officer, Fashion Nova
- Cindy Solomon, Founder, CEO and President, Courageous Leadership Institute
- Jessica Hershfield, Founder and CEO, Just Enough Wines
- Anna Brockway, Co-Founder and President, Chairish
