Well, it’s the third and final day of the Women in Retail Leadership Summit and we’re feeling the love! It has been a great few days here in sunny Phoenix. We’ve had the opportunity to listen to insightful content, do fabulous shopping at the assorted pop-up shops here at the event and, of course, make great connections that will lead to long-term relationships long after the Summit! Here are selected highlights from some of the great speakers that took the stage this week:

  • Kim Gravel, entrepreneur, TV personality, public speaker and industry leader, shared her extraordinary story of becoming the youngest Miss Georgia in the state pageant’s history. She went on to partner with QVC, where she launched a highly successful apparel line. You can listen to a sneak peak of what Gravel’s keynote was about in this Women in Retail Talks podcast episode.
  • Tracy Reese, fashion designer and founder of the sustainable clothing company Hope for Flowers by Tracy Reese, sat down with Gayle Tait, the CEO of the brand recommerce market leader Trove, to talk about her career, her passion for sustainable clothing, and more.
  • Maureen Kelly, a 2023 Top Women in Retail award winner and the founder and CEO of Tarte Cosmetics, shared her entrepreneurial story of failure and success in building one of the top makeup brands in the country.

There will be many more highlights by the time the Summit is over this afternoon. We will be sharing them with you all in the weeks ahead via this newsletter and our Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) website. And remember, Women in Retail members get access to all of our recorded keynotes and panels from the Summit, on-demand and at your fingertips. Not a member? Sign up today!
