I can’t believe it! It’s only one week until the start of the Women in Retail Leadership Summit. I’m so excited I can barely stand it. I’m so thrilled with the extraordinary speakers coming to this year’s event and the amazing group of attendees. Here are my top 10 reasons why this year’s Summit is going to be the best ever:

  1. Miami weather.
  2. Catching up with old friends and making new ones. You all inspire me.
  3. More Success Circles! We heard attendees loved our breakout professional development sessions last year, so we’re bringing them back with a new name and adding an additional time slot.
  4. Our new WIRL Summit app. Powered by our friends at First Data, you can now download the WIRL Summit app in the App Store and on Google Play! (See below for more on our app, as well as a packing guide for Miami!)
  5. New this year: SoulCycle sessions. OK, maybe I’ll just watch.
  6. Cocktails and bubbly by the pool. This is more like it!
  7. Meeting legendary Barbara Bradley Baekgaard, co-founder and chief creative officer of Vera Bradley. I can’t wait to hear her remarkable story firsthand.
  8. Kicking back and enjoying great conversations with great people.
  9. Phenomenal swag!
  10. A strong feeling of empowerment that I always get when I’m around successful women.

I know many of you won’t be able to make it to the Summit this year, but fear not!
