Pepper, a bra company that celebrates small-chested women cup sizes AA – B, has opened applications for its annual $5,000 Startup Grant for Black Women. Launched last year to help change the dismal reality that Black female business owners are the least funded, this marks the second year of the grant.

In addition to the financial grant, Pepper is also committed to providing access to its own networks and mentorship opportunities. In partnership with Startup Girl Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit venture capital fund investing in female founders, this network and extra support includes mentorship calls with the founders of Pepper, dedicated promotion on Pepper’s social media accounts and, most importantly, access to consultations with experts in legal, fundraising, finance, marketing and relevant fields as needed, to address the recipient’s specific needs.

Applications close on Fri., August 6. Semi-finalists will be chosen on Sept. 17. For more information and all the details on applying, please visit wearpepper.com/pages/grant.
