What are you doing tomorrow? If you’re in New York, make sure to check out the Global E-Commerce Leaders Forum (GELF), which every September brings online retailers and global brands together to discuss international e-commerce trends, global e-commerce strategy and tactical cross-border best practices.

Attendees will spend the day discussing proven and emerging international e-commerce market entry and growth models; learning how localized marketing programs drive customer acquisition and engagement; getting tips on how to optimize key operational aspects of their global commerce plan; and more.

I’m excited because this year the Women in Retail Leadership Circle is a community partner for GELF, and as such I’ll be moderating a session called Global Expansion 101. The session, which is designed for attendees who are relatively new to cross-border and international e-commerce, will feature a panel of retail leaders who will share insights about their international growth initiatives. Speakers include:

The results of GELF’s first annual China E-Commerce research will be released at the event. The report is based on surveys and interviews of global e-commerce leaders. Other topics to be discussed at GELF include international marketplaces, omnichannel on a global scale, and evolving cross-border platforms.

Interested in attending GELF (which is taking place at Convene NYC Midtown, by the way)? Be sure to register here and mention Inner Circle in the referred by field.

I hope to see you there!
