As you read this, we’re hard at work preparing for our first Women in Retail Leadership Circle | On the Road event for 2019, which is taking place at the W Hotel in Hollywood, Calif. on July 24! The event, much like our Women in Retail Leadership Summit, will feature inspiring presentations by fabulous keynote speakers, panel discussions, pop-up shops, unique networking opportunities and, of course, our famous swag bags!

New Board Member

We’re honored to welcome our newest member, Angie Rieger, senior vice president, planning/head of international at Lands’ End, to our esteemed WIRLC Board.

Here’s a bit of background on Angie: With more than 25 years of experience in the retail industry, Angie is responsible for leading Lands’ End’s global inventory management and planning strategies across all channels, as well as directing the day-to-day operations of the U.S. direct business. She oversees the development and implementation of all inventory planning and management initiatives at the channel, media and product level. Angie’s responsibilities include forecasting and analytics, product inventory flow and management, and customer fulfillment, as well as profit-and-loss ownership of the U.S. direct business. She strategically partners with cross-functional teams for all U.S. direct efforts, including marketing and finance, to drive profitability and improve market share.

A Lands’ End veteran of more than 20 years, Angie has held various progressive positions throughout the organization. Prior to returning to Lands’ End in 2010, Angie served as the merchandise manager at The Douglas Stewart Company, where she was responsible for the development and execution of merchandising strategies, assortment plans, financial plans, inventory management and delivering on financial objectives.

Angie holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and organizational development from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Ill. In her free time, she enjoys attending her sons’ sporting events, spending time with friends, and running. An avid marathoner, Angie completes two to three marathons each year as she strives to accomplish her goal of running marathons in all 50 states. To date, Angie has completed 32 marathons in 22 states.
