Join Us for a Member Workshop on Leading Across Generations
Today’s retail leaders are managing more than ever before, including workforces that span up to five generations. While diverse perspectives can fuel innovation, they can also create challenges around communication, feedback, flexibility, and engagement. When those differences aren’t understood and managed effectively, they can lead to misalignment, frustration, and employee turnover.
Women in Retail Leadership Circle’s next member workshop, The New Leadership Playbook: Leading Across Generations, taking place on July 14 at 2 p.m. ET, will help attendees learn practical strategies for leading today’s multigenerational workforce with greater confidence and effectiveness.
The interactive workshop will be led by Eliza Kapitan, a college instructor, trend strategist, and former fashion and consumer goods executive. She will equip attendees with tools to adapt their communication styles, coach employees more effectively, tailor recognition across age groups, and foster stronger collaboration among teams with varying workplace expectations.
Drawing on more than a decade of experience leading cross-functional teams across design, product development, licensing, marketing, sales, and production — as well as her current work with college students preparing to enter the workforce — Kapitan offers a unique perspective on emerging workplace trends and how leaders can bridge generational differences to create stronger, more engaged teams.
Women in Retail Leadership Circle members can register for the workshop at no cost. Not a member? Apply today to gain access to this workshop, along with our growing on-demand library of exclusive leadership workshops and member resources.
