Pride Month 2025 is more than a celebration — it’s a moment for retail brands to lead with purpose. For retailers, Pride Month is a business and cultural opportunity to demonstrate real allyship. During Pride Month in previous years, brands have amplified messaging in products and campaigns as a way to celebrate the community’s ongoing advancements toward equality, protections and inclusion. Furthermore, brands have also increased their representation of segments within the queer umbrella, including people of color, gender identities and more.
Here are a few examples of retailers and brands donating to causes that support LGBTQIA+ people, including releasing products with purpose — e.g., Pride-themed clothing, beauty, accessories and more with empowering messages:
- Abercrombie & Fitch has a decade-long partnership with The Trevor Project, a suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit organization for LGBTQIA+ young people. To date, the company has raised $5.38 million through Pride parade sponsorships, associate educational programming, customer round-up campaigns, and its collaborative year-round Pride product collections.
- Converse’s Pride Collection 2025, launched as part of its “Proud to Be” campaign, marks the 11th year of the brand’s celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, emphasizing creativity and self-expression. Converse affirms year-round support for the LGBTQIA+ community through social impact partnerships. Since 2015, the brand has donated nearly $3.4 million. Charity partners include It Gets Better, Iglyo, and more.
- JanSport’s 2025 Affirmations Pride Collection honors Pride Month with designs featuring positive affirmations to support the mental well-being of LGBTQ+ youth. The brand also continues its year-round support of The Trevor Project, and has donated more than $250,000 to the organization.
- Levi’s 20205 Pride Collection shines a light on togetherness and the importance of safe spaces for all LGBTQIA+ people. Furthermore, the apparel brand donates proceeds annually to OutRight International, tying its brand legacy to LGBTQ+ advocacy.
- Skull Candy’s 2025 Pride Collection celebrates inclusivity with the release of the “All Love” collection. A portion of proceeds supports the nonprofit To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA), funding mental health programs for LGBTQIA+ individuals struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. Skullcandy has been a supporter of the organization for more than five years.
As you can see, many of these retailers and brands offer year-round support to the global LGBTQ+ community, not just during Pride Month. And it makes business sense: Reports show that the global LGBTQ+ community has $4.7 trillion in spending power, including showing consistent brand loyalty to companies that reflect their values. Inclusive retailers don’t just connect during June — they win year-round by embedding inclusion into operations, product design, and customer experience. Retailers that show up with authenticity, not opportunism, are capturing attention and trust in the market.
