Stephanie Pugliese, a Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) advisory board member, will once again take the helm at the lifestyle apparel brand Duluth Trading Co., the company announced last week.

Pugliese most recently served as president of the Americas for Under Armour. She has three decades of experience in the retail industry, with a career spanning numerous leadership positions, including at Lands’ End and Ann Inc.

This is Pugliese’s second stint as president and CEO of Duluth; she began working at the company in November 2008 as a vice president of product, merchandising and creative, working her way up to lead the company from February 2015 to September 2019 before moving on to Under Armour, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Pugliese will also serve as a member of Duluth’s board when she starts her new role May 5, according to the company.

“I am incredibly excited to be rejoining Duluth Trading at this pivotal time in its journey to profitable growth,” Pugliese said in a press release. “I know from my long tenure at the company spanning merchandising, marketing and leadership roles what a special brand it is and I am honored that Steve [Schlecht, Duluth’s chairman] and the board are giving me the opportunity to once again lead this talented team.”

In addition to serving on Women in Retail Leadership Circle’s board, Pugliese is an independent board member of American Eagle Outfitters, Title Nine, Fortune Brands Innovations, and Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants.
