“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” — F. Scott Fitzgerald

In just one short fleeting week, students will be back in school (if they aren’t already!) and we’ll be gearing up for some upcoming exciting Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) events!

As consumers begin to seek out pumpkin spice and long summer days turn into crisp autumn evenings, I thought I’d take a minute to share a few of the things we’re looking forward to the most this fall.

  • Game Days: ’Tis the season to tailgate! The return of fall brings football weekends with family and friends. Are you ready for some football?!?
  • Women in Retail On the Road (OTR) Events: WIRLC is excited to launch its first annual On the Road regional events! Similar to our annual Summit, these one-day events will include high-level networking opportunities, retail strategy sessions, executive professional development and, of course, inspiration. Join us! Check out the speaker lineup for the OTR happening in New York City (Oct. 24) here, and in San Francisco (Nov. 7) here. Can’t make either event? Don’t forget to refer us to a colleague. Everyone knows great gals know the best gals, amirite?
  • Groceryshop: WIRLC is partnering again with our favorite Shelley Zalis and The Female Quotient for a Girls’ Lounge, this time at Groceryshop on Oct. 29. If you’re attending Groceryshop (Oct. 28-31, Las Vegas), swing by our Girls’ Lounge for content, activations and some pretty sweet swag 🙂 You can RSVP here.
  • Fall TV Comes Back: (Im)patiently awaiting the return of “This is Us,” obviously.

What are some of your favorite things about fall? Let us know in the comments section below, and we’ll feature your answers on our Instagram page!

Happy tailgating!
