I know everyone is in the midst of year-end craziness, so I’ll keep it short and sweet — girls rock!
While the the holidays are just around the corner (and I’ve spent way too much time watching holiday movies on Netflix), I still find that my mind is already focused on 2018.
This past year has been a whirlwind, but I can’t help but be excited for the future. Just recently the first Wonder Woman scholarship was presented, The Lego Women of NASA set has been one of the fastest-selling LEGO lines of the year (the set, released Nov. 1, sold out on Amazon.com within 24 hours!), and yesterday Merriam-Webster announced feminism is 2017’s word of the year.
Immediately, my thoughts go to a speech by Shelley Zalis, one of this year’s Women in Retail Leadership Summit speakers. In her speech, Zalis passionately describes how the future is feminine — you can listen to the speech here!
And to be honest, we couldn’t agree more — the future is most definitely feminine.
What are you looking forward to most in 2018? Send us a note and we’ll feature it on our WIRLC social pages!
Cheers to Many Years,
