I’m tired of being inspired by incredible women and learning their secrets to success … said nobody ever.

If you’re looking for inspiration and keys to personal and professional success (who isn’t?), then the 2021 Women in Retail Leadership Summit is perfect for you. At this annual event you’ll find hundreds of female retailers to be inspired by and to learn from. I’m thrilled to share a little about just a few of the speakers we have lined up:

  • Maria Menounos is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, TV personality, actress, motivational speaker, New York Times best-selling author, and more. She’s also a survivor. Raised by working-class immigrant parents, Maria didn’t speak English until the third grade. She also spent several years recently caring for her mother who had been diagnosed with stage four brain cancer while at the same time being diagnosed with a brain tumor herself. Yet despite facing these challenges, Maria is currently happier and healthier than she has ever been. In her engaging keynote presentation, Maria will discuss her career and health journey, why it’s important to stay humble despite your success, her secrets around how to live a healthier and happier life, and more!
  • Naomi Bagdonas is the co-author of Humor, Seriously: Why Humor is a Secret Weapon in Business and Life (And how anyone can harness it. Even you.) She’s also a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an executive coach. Bagdonas helps leaders be more creative, flexible and resilient in the face of change by facilitating interactive sessions for Fortune 100 companies as well as coaching executives and celebrities for appearances ranging from “Saturday Night Live” to the “Today Show.” Formally trained at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Bagdonas performs at comedy venues and teaches improv in San Francisco’s county jail. Her constant stream of foster dogs describe her as gullible and full of treats.
  • Cindy Solomon has traveled the globe sharing her provocative and often hilarious insights on business, customer service and courage with tens of thousands of people each year. She’s also founder, CEO and president of the Courageous Leadership Institute, an organization that specializes in working with companies, nonprofits and associations around the world to introduce “Courageous Leadership” as a daily practice at every level. Through the use of cutting-edge, blended learning programs that marry live training, interactive webinars and innovative, online micro learning e-courses, Solomon and her team of worldwide CLI Facilitators work to build teams that are uniquely equipped to meet the needs of a changing and disrupted world.

Now picture that level of inspiration spread out and repeated over three incredible days. Check out the rest of our Summit speakers and register here. Women in Retail Leadership Circle members get the cost of the Summit ($395) reduced from their membership rate if they join!

How has someone inspired you recently? I hope you can tell me all about it in person this October at the Summit! In the meantime, reach out to me at sholtgrieve@napco.com.
