We came. We saw. We conquered. About 160 successful, motivated and passionate women from the retail world descended upon South Beach last week for the second annual Women in Retail Leadership Summit, and a phenomenal time was had by all.
Words like “life changing,” “incredible,” “inspiring,” “amazing” and “transformative” were bandied about by attendees as they described the event. Content around topics such as leadership, customer acquisition, mobile, digital disrupters, building a personal brand, and hiring and training were interspersed with great networking opportunities and fun social events. Attendees even had an impromptu “meeting” with another woman in retail on Miami Beach — a vendor selling bracelets!
