Debbie Propst is a retail industry veteran with a track record for building extraordinary brands, connecting with customers, and leading innovative business strategies. As president, Herman Miller Retail, Propst oversees the company’s global retail business across its portfolio of brands, including Herman Miller, Design Within Reach, and HAY. Propst brings digital-first experience to omnichannel retail at Herman Miller, a key revenue driver with continued sales growth from both e-commerce platforms and locations in key markets across the country.

Prior to joining Herman Miller in January 2020, Propst served as president of One Kings Lane, as well as chief brand officer of Bed Bath & Beyond. Propst joined One Kings Lane in 2012, and was named president in 2016, with end-to-end responsibility for the business and its transformation into a high-end lifestyle brand. Earlier in her career, Propst spent seven years at Abercrombie & Fitch, where she was a head merchant responsible for multiple lines of business.
