At the 2017 Women in Retail Leadership Summit, Diane Ellis, president of Chico’s, gave insight into her hiring strategy, how she plans to grow the women’s apparel and accessories brand, and examples of technologies that retailers should be keeping an eye on.
Always glad to hear retailers of women’s clothing embracing the opportunity to supply items to all shapes and sizes of women. This clearly inspires us to purchase their but also helps empower women of all walks of life with their wide variety of styles and sizes. Added bonus is the stores associates eagerness to help and knowledge of supply in store and ease of placing on line orders for you if as item or items you want are not in stock. Excellence in retail!
I’m surprised by the remarks of Chico’s Travelers Clothing line in Sarasota. I live in Palm Beach but my daughter lives in Sarasota and we will be relocating this year to the West Coast. I shop Chico’s wherever I live or frequent if there’s a store in the area and fell they have staple colors like black, navy, gray and others to complement the season we’re currently in or about to be in. I recently visited the UTC Mall and is was wonderful. Whatever color they don’t have in store they can order and they ship it for free!
