As we’ve mentioned before, Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) is partnering with CommerceNext to honor a top woman in retail as part of its 2024 CommerceNexty Awards program. The CommerceNextys are peer-reviewed awards for marketing and e-commerce achievements among retail and DTC brands. Women in Retail’s Top Woman of the Year Award recognizes a women leader in retail and/or e-commerce who has contributed to the community and mentored others to succeed.

CommerceNext put a call out for nominations earlier this year, and after reviewing them, WIRLC and CommerceNext chose the following honorees for the 2024 Women in Retail’s Top Woman of the Year Award:

  • Adriana Carrig, CEO and Founder, Little Words Project. Carrig has transformed Little Words Project from a basement startup into a multi-million dollar ecommerce empire, emphasizing community and kindness. Under her leadership, the company has expanded its online presence and established thousands of retail partnerships and several brick-and-mortar stores.
  • Allyssa Kaiser, Vice President, Performance Marketing, NEST. Kaiser has made significant contributions to the e-commerce and digital marketing landscape. Demonstrating exceptional leadership and a strategic vision, she has driven double-digit sales growth and innovation, leading her team to develop and implement groundbreaking digital strategies (e.g., CTV) across multiple platforms and sales channels, including the company’s flagship site and Amazon.
  • Alicia Reich, Vice President, Digital Marketing, Movado Group, Inc. Reich plays a pivotal role in reinforcing Movado Group’s leadership in the digital arena through a customer-centric, data-driven marketing strategy. In collaboration with WITHIN, she successfully integrates digital and traditional marketing channels to deliver a cohesive and dynamic customer experience.
  • Stephanie Urban, Vice President, E-Commerce and Marketing, Vince Camuto. Urban exemplifies strategic vision and compassionate leadership, fostering an environment that encourages passion and excellence across all levels of her organization. Her ability to communicate and collaborate effectively has led to significant performance improvements and a culture of empowerment and inclusivity.
