I get it, it’s tough out there. While job growth in the retail sector appears to be on an upward trajectory — a GlobalData second-quarter analysis from this year found that there was a 16 percent rise in new job postings compared with the previous quarter — the way we hire and get hired has changed drastically in the last few years. Job seekers are more closely examining a workplace’s culture, demanding more flexibility, and expecting more empathy and vulnerability from their leaders.
