In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the nation’s unemployment rate hit a record high, and research shows it’s worse for women. In response to the current circumstances, Women in Retail Leadership Circle (WIRLC) wanted to find a way to help its members who have been impacted. Our team brainstormed and came up with a Talent Directorya resource designed to spotlight WIRLC members who are in between jobs and/or looking for new career opportunities. Furthermore, our executive members who are seeking out talent can use the Talent Directory as a source for their next great hire.

In order for the Talent Directory to be the best resource it can be, we encourage all of our members who are looking for the next challenge in their career to opt in to the directory. To be added to the directory, members simply log into their profile on the Women in Retail Leadership Circle website. Within your profile, you’ll see a new section for the Talent Directory. There, you’ll be able to opt in to the directory. Once you do, you’ll be added to a directory that WIRLC members can easily access via a drop-down menu on the website’s homepage.

In addition to our new Talent Directory, WIRLC also has a Job Board for its members. The Job Board is filled with exclusive and curated listings of available executive positions at top retailers and brands. Members who are looking for opportunities can peruse our job board, and members who have positions to fill can submit jobs to be posted.
