I can’t believe that we’re already in the middle of our third week of our month-long virtual event, Women in Retail Leadership Days! We hope you’ve tuned in to enjoy all of the content produced so far. I thought I would use this space today to let you know what we have in store for the rest of this week as well as next week.

For starters, this week’s theme is Explore, so let’s explore some of the sessions we already hosted this week (which are all available on-demand). We started out Monday morning with a high-energy kickboxing class that was led by Diva Richards, founder and president of Hard Work No Excuses. Yesterday, we heard from the inspiring Mindy Grossman, president and CEO of WW International. In her conversation with Aliza Licht, founder and president of LEAVE YOUR MARK LLC, Mindy spoke about her unconventional career journey from law school to retail, and how she turned down a role at a luxury fashion brand for the opportunity to transform the Home Shopping Network (HSN) into a digital powerhouse before stepping into the role at WW.

As for what’s to come, we have some family fun! We know a lot of you are still working from home and have the kiddos around, so we thought we would involve them in our event. Join us this afternoon (10/14) at 4 p.m. EST for a fun-filled hour with Mario the Maker Magician! Kids of all ages are welcome! This activation is co-hosted by CAMP.

On Thurs., Oct. 15, at 2 p.m. EST, be sure to tune in for our next panel, Girls Who Green the World, which will dive into the important topic of sustainability in the retail industry. The panel discussion will feature women on the cutting edge of the environmental movement inside retail. We’ll finish off the week with a networking Power Hour at 2:45 p.m. EST, also on Thursday. Get ready to explore and go deep on any topics you’d like with your favorite women in retail.

We’ll begin week four of Leadership Days on Mon., Oct. 19 with an on-demand session all about how to create mind-set shifts for more effortless growth and success. The session will be led by Jackie Knechtel, co-founder of the Flow Consciousness Institute. This session will be followed by an encore presentation of our opening keynote with Diane von Furstenberg at 1 p.m. EST.

Following Diane’s session, which features a conversation with former DVF CEO Sandra Campos, we will have a keynote with another iconic retail rock star, Donna Karan, at 2 p.m. EST. Donna will be interviewed by Helen Aboah, Former CEO of Urban Zen. Finally, immediately after the Donna Karan keynote, we will have a live cocktail demonstration and Q&A with Spa Girl Cocktails’ Karen Haines! We hope everyone will take a break and have a sip with us!
